Do We Take Insurance?

Clear Water Wellness is an out-of-network provider which means that payment is due at the time of service. If your insurance has out-of-network benefits you may elect to receive a superbill from your therapist to submit to your insurance company yourself for reimbursement.

Read below for tips on finding your out-of-network benefits.

In order to provide you with the highest quality of care, Clear Water Wellness is considered an “out-of-network” provider—meaning, we are not in network with health insurance companies.

Why aren’t we in network with insurance companies? Insurance companies may require your personal information, and may require your therapist to provide your insurance company with your diagnosis. They may also ask them to justify that your diagnosis is severe enough to impair your daily life. Based on this information, some insurance companies will dictate how many sessions you are allowed to attend. We strive to provide the best individualized treatment plan for each client and we are confident in our ability to help our clients however, this can be challenging when insurance companies dictate patient care and require personal information.

Since we are not directly billing your insurance company, payment is due at the time of service. However, if you do have health insurance coverage, you may be able to get reimbursed by your insurance company. Meaning, you would submit a form to your insurance company, along with an itemized receipt (that we can provide to you!) and they would reimburse you directly.

Because health insurance companies vary in the coverage they provide we recommend that you CALL YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANY PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST VISIT to assess your out-of-network benefits.
